...A LITTLE ABOUT US
My name is Lori Chandler. My husband Jason and I have ten children.
Together we have owned, bred, coursed, and shown Borzoi on a very small scale for almost 15 years.
Jason bought me my first Borzoi in 2003 and we both fell in love with this unique breed! We were amazed at their gentleness with our little children and their devoted protection of them. Our dogs are well socialized with children of all ages! Several of them end up in bed with the children at night.
We occasionally breed litters and our puppies are handled from day one. We strive to maintain the integrity of the breed, correct movement and general health in the Borzoi we breed. Temperament is also very important to us as we want to produce dogs that fit in any family setting, show ring, coursing field, or work environment.
Our desire is that the puppies we raise will be well rounded in all the areas that a Borzoi might find itself and that we will work for the quality of the Borzoi breed over all, as we interpret the breed standard for our kennel and choose the foundation dogs we use in our breeding program.

We think caring for animals is a great way to teach our children many values. Responsibility, consistency, health and nutrition, and the importance of caring for those who can not care for themselves.
The bible says " A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel." Proverbs 12:10
That reminds me of a quote by Abraham Lincoln... "I care not much for a man's religion whose dog and cat are not the better for it."
In Matthew 10:29 we read that "....not a single sparrow can fall to the ground without your Father knowing it..."
Even the little animals are known by God our creator and He sees everything!
